Sizing and fit

Will my cat fit?
Standard suits cats up to about 12 lbs with a standard litter pan. Large suits cats over 12 lbs, long-bodied breeds, jumbo pans, and two smaller cats sharing. Full detail on the size guide. If you are unsure, email us your litter box measurements and your cat's weight.

Does it come with a litter box?
No, and that is deliberate. You keep the box you already own and know your cat uses. Most standard and jumbo pans fit.

Can two cats share one?
Two smaller cats can share a Large. The general guideline is one box per cat plus one, so most two-cat homes pair this with a second plain box elsewhere.

Odor and cleaning

Will it smell?
An enclosure that traps air makes odor worse; this one ventilates. You still scoop daily exactly as you do now. What changes is that the smell is no longer sitting in open air beside your sofa.

Is it hard to clean?
The front doors open fully, so you scoop standing up instead of crouching under a plastic hood. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth when you change the litter. Avoid bleach and ammonia cleaners - cats dislike both, and ammonia smells like urine to them.

Does it stop litter tracking?
It catches most of what gets kicked out of the box. It is not magic - a cat with enthusiastic digging habits will still carry a little on its paws. A mat outside the side opening finishes the job.

Will my cat actually use it?

My cat is nervous. Any advice?
Yes, and it works most of the time:

1. Put the cabinet exactly where the old box was. Do not change the room.
2. Use the same litter and the same box. Change one thing at a time.
3. Leave both front doors open for the first 24-48 hours so it does not feel like a cave.
4. Do not lift the cat and place it inside. Let it investigate on its own terms.
5. Give it two weeks before you conclude anything.

What if my cat refuses?
Email us within 30 days. Our Happy Cat Guarantee covers it and we will not make you ship a large box back.

Assembly and use

Does it arrive assembled?
No. It ships flat-packed, which protects it in transit and keeps shipping free. Assembly takes about 30 minutes with the included hardware and one Allen key. No power tools.

Can I really put things on top?
Yes, up to 132 lbs. A lamp, a plant, a tray, a stack of books. That is the whole point.

Does it need to be against a wall?
No. It is finished on all sides and freestanding.

Ordering and delivery

How long does shipping take?
1 business day to process, then 4-6 business days in transit within the contiguous US. Free on every order. Full detail on the shipping policy.

Where does it ship from?
A warehouse inside the United States. No customs, no import fees, no overseas wait.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada?
Not yet. Contiguous 48 states only for now.

Can I change my order after placing it?
Email us within 2 hours and we will try. After that it has usually been released to the warehouse.

What if it arrives damaged?
Send a photo. We ship a replacement and you keep the damaged one out of your way - no return required.
